Operation Get-Joop-Back

The Jeep. Once a fine, strong peice of machinery. But it has since fallen into the evil clutches of a crack-head, and it is no longer the automobile it once was. It is our job, our duty, to fully restore "Joop" back to the way it was, just months ago....
We devised a plan. A brilliant plan to get the Jeep back into good hands. We went to Benson yesterday and opened up the hood to find.... nothing. Almost everything was gone. The battery, the air filter, the fuel cap.... And what was inside the actual Jeep? You name it. The poor thing looked like it had been used as a trash can for a few months. We found a crap load of crap. I found a tobacco can. Joe even found a bong in the middle compartment thingy. It was so gross. But we cleaned it out and got a new battery and other things for it, and washed our hands like we never have before. I did anyway. Anyway, finally he got it running. But only enough to get it to my parent's house. It needs a new carburetor to get it all the way to Thatcher. But at least it's safe for now. Away from the hands that ruined it in the first place... :/

Happy Valentimes! ♥

Two nights ago, Joe decided to sit up and slap himself in the face.... don't know what that was about... Then he said this last night:

"Guess we'll just have to... gamble. With our.... our um.... uhh.......... Nevermind."

I tried to get the last part out of him but he was too gone.

Also, Happy Valentine's Day! Joe got me a crap load of the most delicious chocolate :) but he keeps eating it! Even though I got him some too. Mine is just better :)

Doctor

We went to the doctor yesterday and he gave Joe some zantac. It's for acid. That's probably what it is. But we're still not sure. Doc said to come back in a month if the pain isn't reducing. But it is I think. So it's probably just that. Which is better than the other things we were thinking it could be. So nothing to worry about thankfully. We hope.

More Talking

Here are some more of Joe's sleep talking. It's especially funny when i talk back to him :)

"6-3-4. 6-3-4!" sixty-four? "6-THREE-4." what's 6-3-4? "Skew." Skew? What's skew? (looks at me like i'm an idiot) "....Oh yeah you don't work at home depot."

He explained later that "SKU" stands for Stock-Keeping Unit, the little numbers by the bar code and price on an item. He works at Home Depot so he uses those. Aparently 634 was the number of an item he was stocking in his dream lol.

"Ughh... ugghhh...." what? "Ugh..." What's wrong? "Cold..." what? "It was cold. That's all." Are you cold? "Nope. Now i'm hot."

and this one was just last night:

(Very quickly and urgently) "Will we be in trouble for not having red?!?"

Apparently he was dreaming about a competition where we had to get all of the red boxes. The competition was ending and we didn't have very many red boxes.

Sleep Talker

If you havn't heard of or seen the "Sleep Talkin' Man" blog, it is hilarious. This British guy talks in his sleep like crazy and his wife posts them on a blog. A few inappropriate, but they are so funny. If you want to check it out, it's http://sleeptalkinman.blogspot.com. Anyway so after reading those and laughing our heads off, my mom suggested I do the same for Joe, because he also talks in his sleep. Not nearly as much as the Sleep Talkin' Man, but when he does they are quite hilarious. I always put them in my phone after he says them so I can remember. Here are a few he's said in the past few nights....

"Jiggly. Jiggly horse butt. There's a jiggly horse butt on the shelf. Isn't there?"

"The plug's for the TV. I'll do it later. But I can't cuz we don't have that kind of TV."

(After he suddenly turned and looked at me, startled,) "You turned into candy?!?"

"Pillows... There's no more pillows.... We're out of pillows... and I want moooore."

So there ya go, and there will be moooore. haha.

Hospital Trip

Well today was somewhat interesting. Joe has been having this strange sharp, stabbing pain in his stomach, i think, a little higher maybe, since last Friday. It hurts a LOT he says. It happens every couple minutes and lasts about 6 seconds. It hurts when he eats too. He thought it might be a hernia or an ulcer maybe. We went to the hospital today to get it checked out, because he was afraid it might be something serious. And he couldn't get into the doctor until tomorrow afternoon. So we went today and sat in a little room while a few different people asked him an endless amout of questions. They seemed a little confused and couldn't figure it out what it was. Then they took his blood and it wouldn't come out! They poked him at least three times and finally got enough blood out of him. He was dehydrated from not drinking because it hurt too much so his blood was thick. After about three hours, (they took forever) they just said it was probably just acid reflux and told him what stuff to get. Joe doesn't think that's what it is, and he's still going to the doctor tomorrow. Kind of scary, we hope it's nothing bad... I guess I'll let you know. Hopefully by tomorrow we'll know.

The Amazing Brittany and Joseph

After a first attempt at a blog I figured I just didn't have the motivation. But I'm trying again and hopefully this time it won't die. So hello. I guess I'll introduce ourselves now.

My name is Brittany LaRea (Davis) Knight. I grew up in the little sheltered town of St. David where my family still resides. You can read all about them at davisdummies.blogspot.com.
I am currently attending Eastern Arizona College where I am majoring in music. I am in a cappella choir and play flute in band. I also play guitar and piano.
My husband's name is Joseph Michael Knight. He grew up in the little not-so-sheltered town of Benson. We met in St. David/Benson when our little sisters, Taryn and Summer decided it was a great idea to hook us up so they could be sisters. Well we didn't really think anything of it, and I was not really interested in a relationship at the time. But then I started going to EA, and Joe was there, who is now working on a degree in pre-medicine, and things just fell into place. We got married in the Mesa AZ temple on July 17, 2009. It's been so so great ever since. Here are a few pictures, there are many more on my facebook. Any my mom's. And Joe's. If we are not FB friends then you can see them in our PicasaWeb photo album at http://picasaweb.google.com/btcml53872.
The end.
