Merry Christmas! And a Happy Roller Coastering!

Christmas is in two days! It came so fast! Everything is going way too fast these days. But I am super excited. So this is what's been going on lately: Joe is working overnights at Home Depot in Tucson. He has been since last monday night (the 20th) and he will finally be done after tonight. I didn't really want to be home alone the whole time, and the thought of being stuck at my parents' house the whole time without my car (because Joe took it) scared me a little. So I went with my bestest friend Brooke to her house in Tucson. We've had such a blast! Christmas shopping and what-not. Tomorrow I'm gonna leave and she'll leave me and go move all the way to Utah :( I'm gonna miss her so much. Here are some pictures :)Well after Christmas, on the 28th through January 2nd or 3rd, we're going with my family to San Antonio, Texas. I'm not quite sure what we're going to be doing there for so long... but one of those days we're going to SIX FLAGS! I'm so excited! And Joe has never been on a roller coaster! (I don't count the crappy one at Castles & Coasters.) I can't wait. I love extreme roller coasters. The bigger the better! Well I need to stop doin this and go get something to put in my belly. Hopefully my next post will be all about Christmas and Six Flags and not four months late!

A Few Fall Pictures

Thanksgiving came and went and I'm just now writing about it. I need to pick it up woman. We didn't really do anything other than the normal getting together and stuffing our mouths with wonderful delicacies made by the amazing women (and a few of the men) in our families... but other than that, we got a few fall pictures taken. Dave and Cindy were down and did them for us. (Yes, Taryn's hair is browner and Cheyenne's hair is redder. I dyed them. I was suprised Chey wanted to do it. It looks good on her though. Mine is also darker and red. Hasn't been this dark since it was natural...)

Ho Ho Ho! Happy Halloween!!

I know this is really late, it's two weeks till Christmas. But I'm catching up! Halloween was great! Joe and I dressed up like a witch and a wizard again... we couldn't think of anything else and then it got too late. But my hair was pretty wicked. The kids' costumes were amazing! Taryn was tinkerbell. My mom made the outfit, complete with genie pants and a sparkly corset. Cheyenne was by far the most amazing clown I have ever seen. Part of it was all thanks to me, like her hair and makeup. But the dress, (made by my mom) was awesome. Madi was some kind of 80's girl. I did her hair and makeup too, and she wore my thick waist belt. And Logan was the cutest clown ever. And my dad... well I'll just let you see for yourself.

I wish I had a better picture of ours... all I have of this year is this one of our faces. But here's one of the same costumes we had from last year.

She had on some converse all-stars. She looked so awesome. My favorite boy ever!BAHAHA!

Here Fishy Fishy Fishy

Weirdest thing happened at walmart the other day. If anyone can top this, please feel free to comment.
So, we went to walmart a few days ago, just like any normal day, got some food, some junk we didn't really need. On our way out the door, a tiny old lady wearing a hat stopped us. She says, "Do you do any fishin?" We're like, no, not really... And she goes, "You know why? Cuz you're scared! You're scared you won't catch anything!" Then she starts asking Joe if he wants to know her secret. He was like, ummm sure? She turned to me and said, "We're women we've got secrets! Don't you wanna know my secret?" Joe said yes. So she says, "I get down close by the water..." she crouches down, "and I do this." then she points to her hat, which said 'Here fishy fishy fishy' on it. Joe started being silly and saying, "You catch it with your hat? You turn it into a hat?" She just looks at me like Joe is the dumbest person alive hahaha. She was like, "Tell him. Tell him what I do." So I said "Here fishy fishy fishy?" And she looked at Joe like it was so obvious. Then she said, "So that's my secret. So next time you go fishin...." We laughed and slowly walked away.
What in the world? She probably robbed us or something. I'm scared we're gonna see her again and she'll be like, didja try that trick I told you? I got some popsicles...down in my celler....

Life, the Universe, and Everything

School has started once again. I'm finished with all my music classes, so now all I need are the rest of the nasty ones. Chemistry, and the lab, intensive writing, a computer class... not gonna be fun. The computer class doesn't seem that bad though. I'm taking a cooking class, which will be helpful, and band of course. I'm also taking a scrapbooking class with about 13 old ladies. Should be fun.....
Other than classes though, things have been so insane lately! For one thing, last saturday my sister-in-law Summer got married. It was so great. It was held in the relief society room in the church in St. David. The reception was right after in the cultural hall. She was so beautiful and they were so happy. Joe gave her away and it was so cute, I cried a little. The whole thing was so happy. Even though it wasn't a temple marriage. But they want to make it there eventually, so that's good. Next saturday I'm throwing her a baby shower. It's going to be fun. She's due October 1st. And they are both so excited. They are so young, but I think they've matured a lot. I just hope and pray that everything will go great for them. It's so uncommon that situations like them work out. But they have a lot of love and a lot of prayers helping them out.
It's been a very stressful few weeks... I can't wait till everything is over and we can just get on with life without school in it. This baby shower is taking up so much of my time right now... and money. I seriously don't know how many times I've been to walmart this week, it's crazy. And all this babyness is just driving me crazy. I want one! They're just so cute and chubby and tiny and cute and just... ugh. It makes me sick. I need this school year to go fast please.
Just sitting here, I think I've gotten bit by mosquitoes at least 5 times.
So I'm just waiting for Joe to get off work. But I think I'll go get in bed now that it's midnight. Peace.

Moving Time :D

I just put a few more pictures on the last three posts... Just more of the days on our trip. They're pretty funny.

Anyway, now that we're back home we can finally move into our new place! Well it's not new... at all... but I bet it's newer than the trailers. Plus, it's cheaper. My Montierth family owns them, so we're going to do yard work and collect rent... stuff like that, and we'll get a break on the rent. We're going to be saving about $200 a month. Plus we'll get free internet :) we are excited!! We just need to find someone with a truck to move our furnature....

San Diego Vacation - Mission Beach

The day before we left, we went to Mission Beach. It was so pretty there.

Not a very good picture, but that's me, Joe, Dad, Chey, and Madi. I think that's someone else on the right unless it's Taryn. But I don't think she got that wet. She's a weenie like that.
The sandcastle. We had fun playing with Cheyenne who couldn't move at all. She was stuck until we dug her out a little. Hahaha.Madi was a mermaid.

San Diego Vacation! - Zoo & Wild Animal Park

Our second day in San Diego, we went to the San Diego Zoo, and the Wild Animal Park on the third. These are pictures and a video from the Zoo.

Video of the sweetest parrot ever!

Wasn't that so cool? haha. Here are some pictures. There are a few other ones on my Facebook.

The koala bears were so cute! I love the little one wedged in between the branches hehe.

Baby panda. So cute!!

This gorilla CHARGED at Madison! He ran up with an evil face and pounded on the glass. Then kicked it and walked away. Then we found out later that gorillas don't like it when someone is staring at them. Like humans, they think that staring is rude. And Madi was staring right at it. hahaha.

The polar bear was waving at us. Verrrry Slowwllly....

These next ones were at the Wild Animal Park. The giraffe/antalope/rhino enclosure. There were a few other animals in there too. It was so cool because it was so huge! It was like you were looking at some place in Africa. This is kind of a bad picture because of the glare on the glass, but it's the coolest one I got because she's got her eyes open. She was right up at the glass. So cool.Us.Lemur Island. They're so cute!

San Diego Vacation! - Day 1

Joe and I went with my family to San Diego for a lovely vacation! Right now we're in a hotel in San Diego next to a couple of strip clubs. Today was the first day here. It's been really fun so far! Here are some pictures of the cute little place on Coronado Island where we ate.
You can see Taryn's face behind us... kinda creepy....

Mom, Chey, and Madi being silly.

NO bicycle riding! says the sign.... yet there's a bicycle rack 30 feet away.

Logan suddenly broke out into dance...

Dad: "You don't have any sense of direction do ya."

Logan: "Nope, but I have a sence of DANCE!" lol!

After that, we went to the beach!

Madi jumproping with kelp.
