If you are planning to go to Six Flags, and you're planning to go to the one in San Antonio, and you tell me you are excited, then I will say this: "Um, slow down there mister excitey pants. Don't go to San Antonio if you want to ride roller coasters." That's right, it was a dissapointment. There weren't very many rides anyway but only about 3 of them were open. Not to mention all the "technical difficulties" they were all having. Goliath was open (thank goodness) and two or three others... the Boomerang, which was fun, and the rocket thing that shoots you up one billion feet in the air. (Joe didn't like that one, hehe.) Twice we had to leave the line for a ride because of technical difficulties. It was very annoying. Buuuuuut, there WAS a ginormous 60 foot Christmas tree! So, if you say you're going to Six Flags in San Antonio, I will say that they have a super duper gigantuous Christmas tree that is awesomeness to look at.
I know this picture is blurry, but just look how big that tree is!
Other than the fun yet disapointing Six Flags, we did so many other things. Our hotel was right on the Riverwalk so we got to walk on it everywhere we went basically. The last two nights Joe and I stayed in a different hotel from the rest of my family which wasn't too far away. We would just walk through the Riverwalk. It was so pretty and the buildings and pathways were so old-timey.
This is WAY out of order but oh well. You probly don't care. Anyway, we visited the Alamo. I usually, most often, always, never like museums and history type things... but this was really cool! I even wanted to buy a shirt at the Alamo gift shop. But it was almost 20 bucks and I'm poor and my Dad wouldn't buy it for me even though he said he wanted to. He was probly lying. Joe and I did get a mug though... We get mugs from all the places we go. We got a Six Flags mug too. It has all the Looney Tunes guys on it. We got one from Sea World and the San Diego Zoo when we went to San Diego last summer. Anyway here's us at the Alamo.
Some HUGE fish in the pond thing at the Alamo. They were like three feet long! Maybe not... but they were big. That one yellow one on the right looked like he got his face blown off in battle. Like he was rotting or something...
The first whole day we were there was the U of A game against Oklahoma State. We didn't do so well...
Joe is so silly.
A cute pic of the girls. Just try to ignore Ron Weasley back there.
I tried to get the field behind us but it didn't work. Oh well.
The last day we were there we visited this catholic cathedral. It was very strange... everyone was praying together... it was just strange. But on the outside it was huge and really pretty.
Random picture... there was this little tiny Chinese shop at the mall in San Antonio. Haha
